My name is Erica Boxall and I warmly welcome you to my Blog. 12 months ago, not long after the birth of my second child I attended my first Stampin' Up! workshop and WOW was I blown away. I have always loved anthing crafty, except i can't draw to save myself, and have always found great satisfaction in making things. This has included cross stitch, patchwork, bear making, sewing, beading, knitting (not very good at this), scrapbooking and a little bit of card making.
At the moment I am a stay at home mum to 2 very precious boys. I have Thomas, my big 4 and 3/4 year old who is a big kinder kid now and will be heading off to school next year, and Will my ever so cheeky 1 year old. Then there is my husband Darren who is very loving and supportive of this obsession of mine. I am a Registered Nurse but am currantly on extended maternity leave and have many hobbies and commitments that keep me busy. Those who know me know about my other obsession, Calisthenics, which I participate in and coach. Everything I do in my life reflects on my natural instinct to work with people and always involves the sharing of ideas and teaching.
So, in February this year with my families support and encouragement I signed up as a Stampin' Up! demonstartor. I never dreamed that I would become one of those "party plan" girls and I'm not. Stampin' Up! allows me to share my passion and craft with others in my own style. There is no pressure to sell and I could have joined to just buy for myself. Better still I set my own goals.
My main goal in this very exciting journey is to have fun sharing a quality product with others while spending some time on me. Hence the title of my blog, "My Play Ground". It is so important to find time for ourselves and give back to ourselves if we as mothers and wives are to continue giving quality care to our children and loved ones. So this is my place to play and to share a wonderful passion with other people who also need a little bit of "me" time in their life to play.
Thankyou for reading my blog, I hope you find it inpspiring and interesting. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or need any advice about anything in my blog.
Cheers
Erica Boxall
