Just Around the Corner.

I cant believe how quickly this year has gone, and yes Christmas is just around the corner.  For the past few years I have made my own Christmas cards, but have always left it to the last minute and haven't then had the time to make them all and to make what I really want.  To avoid this this year I have decided to run a series of Christmas Card classes for my clients, and to help me get mine done.

Each month I will be holding 2 classes, one on a weekend afternoon and one on a Monday night.  Each class will use different stamp sets and different techniques.  We will make 8 cards, 4 each of 2 different designs.  For more details click here.

Winter Blues.

Okay, it's official, I think I have the winter blues or should i say HAD the winter blues.   Over the last 3 months I have had so many colds, chest infections, sinusitis, ear infections and the dreaded gastro.  I think I've been sick more in the last 3 months than I've been in the last 3 years or more.   There has been so much going around this year and it amazes me how often everyone is getting sick and not just me.  Luckily my family have mostly avoided all my illnesses with the kids only getting sick once each.

Anyway over the last 4 days I have started to feel a bit better, more motivated and excited about getting back into the swing of creating. So, I have set myself a challenge this week to do at least 2 posts on this blog (this one doesn't count) and to organise a series of classes for the remainder of the year.  So stay tuned and lets see if I can avoid any more bugs and succeed in this challenge.........

Garden Whimsy......

   

I thought long and hard about what I wanted my first ever blog picture to be.  This card is a reflection of where I'm at now.  Garden Whimsy is my favourite Stampin' Up! set and Purely Pomegranate and Old Olive is my favourite SU colour combination.  I have demonstrated this card at workshops so many times and everyones loves it and are amazed at how quick and easy it is to make.  I have to admit this is what I'm loving about card making, it easy and you can quickly make and finish a fabulous personalised card.

Here it is........Finally!

Oh my gosh, I have finally done it, created my very first Blog.  After months of spending way to much time looking at everyone else's blogs, I decided I needed my own.  Sounds simple doesn't it.  Well it was once I found the time to do it and the courage to actually post something.  It's such a strange feeling thinking what do I write but mostly who will read it.   So here goes, a new journey for me has just begun and I hope you enjoy the ride with me as I share with you all a little bit about my life and hopefully a lot about my creativity and creations.  See you soon..............
